Neil has over 25 years of teaching experience, including being resident trumpet tutor and lecturer in improvisation at Birmingham Conservatoire, Leeds College of Music and Salford University, and visiting teacher at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Royal Northern College of Music, as well as private teaching at all levels - beginner to advanced. Many of Neil's former students have gone on to study music full time, and many  are now respected working musicians and music educators themselves.
